----PL Downpour pass---

a 2 stage payload map that i started some time ago but only lately had the time to work on it.

--The Back Story --

Flood watchers from all over would come to gaze at the gushing
waters of the aptly named Downpour Pass; a BLU owed national park
situated along side a canyon was famous for its annual flooding.

After after a long time without any rain the park dried up and tourist stopped visiting.

In that time sightings of RED in the area had increased and BLU went out to investigate.

It turned out that RED had set up a base near by that was housing a large weather control device.

blue sent out infiltration force ALPHA (1 spy) to temporarily disable the device
so they could make their final assault to permanently shut it down.

I was playing this map on bgn the other day. Its not too bad actually. Although we did have the cart get stuck just after it turned the first corner around the rock on the first stage.

Also the very last corner on that stage was kind of lol.. Since the cliff edge is so close. I was sitting next to it with the FaN and using the knockback to blast people off the edge :P

had a little run around on this last night on a local server, looks quite impressive
obviously there's still a little detailing to be done, but quite sharp nonetheless

highlight has to be the darkened skybox and persistent drizzle with pools of water everywhere, really does feel like you're going to work on a rainy day (assuming your job is the senseless slaughter of rival mercenaries)
