Sigma is quite a dull and frustrating map for offense. Yet quite a delight for defense with easily defendable positions, both frontline and backline. Hopefully this version of the map may offer a more balanced approach to the map, giving offense more of a chance of capping. This map features two entrances leading into a huge flagroom.

If is because of this huge flagroom that a scout can dominate the map with consistent fast hhing. Offense should revolve around 1 scout and 3 medics. The scout should be concentrating on getting the flag out of the flagroom into either of the two entrances(ramp or stairs). The medics should split the duties. Two trying to take down the SG and 1 helping with flag movement. There is no point in dming the soldiers as they will be resupping frequently (as both will be near a respawn). There is also no point trying to take on the HWGuy as with incs he will be able to shoot you from afar. Just take down the SG and conc to the flag. A spy is worth thinking of as he will be effective at taking down the SG, however getting past the heavy defense may pose a problem.

The positions for defense are pretty set. They are obvious and easy to defend. Have a soldier at both stairs and ramp. There are resups very close to them, so they should not die too much. Have the HW in the flagroom as he can see down both corridoors and start shooting as soon as the offense appears. There are quite a few places to put the SG in the flagroom as it is so large. Make sure it has enough time to lock onto the scout though. Beware that the offense can take the flag out either way as both pose the same difficulty.

End hall pack - secondary nade removed. Health/armor reduced to 20/20 flag room center pack - entire pack removed.

Flag room engineer pack - health removed. Armor reduced to 25. Respawn time changed to 15 seconds.

Water resupply bags - both packs removed.

in theory its a good map
it really does rely on the offense knowing what they are doing and being able to hit the ramp slides and what not
